Men's Soccer Loses at HCAC Leader Rose-Hulman

Franklin, Ind. - The Franklin College men's soccer team lost to Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) leader Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology 4-0 on Wednesday evening.

Rose-Hulman scored three second-half goals and got on the scoreboard with a goal in the 35th minute.

The Grizzlies stand in fifth place in the HCAC standings with a 3-4-1 league record and 10 points. Franklin trails fourth-place Mount St. Joseph University by three points for the fourth and final spot to make the conference tournament heading into Saturday's regular-season finale. The Grizzlies defeated MSJ 2-0 on October 15.

Freshmen Mason May and Cody Coppess each recorded a shot on goal for the visitors.

Franklin concludes the regular season at Anderson University on Saturday, October 29 at 3:30 p.m. MSJ hosts Defiance College later that evening.
