Men's Basketball Loses at Hanover

Hanover, Ind. - The Franklin College men's basketball team had three players score in double figures in a 75-66 road loss to Hanover College on Wednesday in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action.

Junior John Beineke (Indianapolis, Ind./Perry Meridian) lead the offensive attack with 17 points. Junior Aaron Mann (Indianapolis, Ind./Howe) added 16 points, while senior Trae Washington (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington South) scored 14 points.

Hanover closed out the first half on an 8-0 run to take a 36-27 advantage. Franklin opened the second half on an 11-2 run to square the contest 38-38. The Panthers took a 53-46 lead on a basket by Cameron Fails midway through the second half. The visitors could only get as close as eight points on two occasions down the stretch.
