Hanover, Ind. - The Franklin College volleyball team lost in straight sets to Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) co-leader Hanover College on Wednesday.

Franklin stands 4-2 in HCAC play and has won 15 matches.

Senior Kourtney Settle (Vallonia, Ind./Brownstown Central) registered a team-high 10 kills. Sophomore Amanda Lelivelt (Chippewa Falls, Wis./Riverside Brookfield) added seven kills, while senior Emily Young (Avon, Ind./Avon) had six kills.

Junior Ashley Bazier (Terre Haute, Ind./Terre Haute South) recorded 22 assists and seven digs.

Seniors Mackenzie Wieneke (Seymour, Ind./Seymour) and Theresa Brown (Indianapolis, Ind./Franklin Central) each tallied seven digs in the match.

Franklin returns to action on Friday, October 23, at 7 p.m. when it hosts Mount St. Joseph University from the Spurlock Center.
