Box Score Anderson, Ind. - The Franklin College volleyball team remained undefeated in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play with a four-set victory at Anderson University (25-27, 25-13, 25-13, 25-18) on Saturday.
The Grizzlies (14-9, 4-0 HCAC) have now won seven straight matches.
Sophomore Amanda Lelivelt (Chippewa Falls, Wis./Riverside Brookfield) led the offensive attack with 17 kills and a .441 hitting percentage for the match. Senior Emily Young (Avon, Ind./Avon) added 11 kills, while sophomore Brooke Harvey (Clinton, Ind./South Vermillion) posted nine kills. Senior Kourtney Settle (Vallonia, Ind./Brownstown Central) had eight kills and a .421 hitting percentage.
Franklin tallied 52 kills and a .279 hitting percentage for the match.
Junior Ashley Bazier (Terre Haute, Ind./Terre Haute South) tallied 47 assists and 12 digs.
Senior Mackenzie Wieneke (Seymour, Ind./Seymour) anchored the defensive effort with 26 digs. Sophomore Sarah Labra (Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) posted 14 digs. Senior Theresa Brown (Indianapolis, Ind./Franklin Central) recorded 11 digs.
