Box Score Anderson, Ind. - The Franklin College men's soccer team lost its first road Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) match in a 3-0 decision to Anderson University on Saturday.
The Grizzlies stand in fourth place heading into the final two matches of the season. The top four teams qualify for the HCAC tournament.
Anderson (10-6-1, 4-2-1 HCAC) scored two first-half goals and added a tally midway through the second half to pick up the victory.
Franklin tallied 10 shots in the match, led by two shots each from senior Brandon Iaria (Indianapolis, Ind./Southport), and juniors Thaddeus Broderick (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central), and Austin Fundenberger (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central).
