Women's Basketball Set to Play Hanover in HCAC Tournament

Franklin, Ind. - The Franklin College women's basketball team has a first round bye in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament that will open today at Transylvania University.

Franklin College was able to clinch the second seed for the tournament, finishing the regular season 15-3 in the conference (21-4 overall). The Grizzlies will be looking to win their second consecutive tournament championship. The Grizzlies will make their first appearance in the tournament on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 5 p.m. The Grizzlies will play the winner of the game between No. 6 Rose-Hulman and No. 3 Hanover.
