Ryan O'Leary comes to Franklin College after a generation in the field of sports journalism.
Most recently, O'Leary spent nine years as the sports editor at the Daily Journal here in Franklin. Prior to that, he worked at a number of publications in Indiana as well in the Boston and Chicago areas, covering everything from youth to professional sports since the late 1990s.
A native of Harwich, Massachusetts and a 1996 University of Notre Dame graduate, O'Leary previously worked in sports information at both his alma mater (as a student assistant) and Boston College.
O'Leary resides in Bargersville, Indiana with his wife Lindsay and their two sons, Braylon and Landon.
