Logan Haston joined the Franklin coaching staff in June 2026 and will be coaching the quarterbacks & wide receivers and overseeing the passing game.
Coach Haston joins the Griz after four years at Columbus North High School, where he served as the head football coach and assistant athletic director. During that time, the Bull Dogs experienced tremendous success on & off the field, including 32 Academic All-State selections, 25 all-conference players, two players selected to the IFCA North/South All-Star game and nearly 20 players advancing to play football collegiately. The most memorable season came in 2024, when the Bull Dogs finished the year with an 8-2 record and a Conference Indiana title. During that impressive campaign, Coach Haston was named Conference Indiana Coach of the Year as well as the Indianapolis Colts Coach of the Week in Week 8.
Haston orchestrated a very prolific offense at North, resetting the school record books and averaging over 35 points per game during his four-year tenure. In 2025, quarterback Asher Ratliff broke nine school passing records and led Indiana's Class 6A in passing. Ratliff amassed 7,265 yards of total offense and 89 total touchdowns in his career as a Bull Dog, earning him The Republic Co-Athlete of the Year alongside his teammate and Indiana University commit Parker Elmore.
Prior to Haston’s time in Columbus, he was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Fishers High School. Despite competing in arguably the best conference in the state, Haston’s offenses produced eight all-conference players, including a Mr. Football finalist at the tight end position. The Tigers' quarterbacks saw great success, breaking four passing records over a two-year span. In addition to coaching football, Haston served as a Spanish teacher in the Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation.
An Avon, Indiana native, Haston began his coaching career as the quarterbacks coach at his alma mater of Manchester University, where as a former quarterback himself, he was a team captain and part of the winningest senior class in school history. He is still the active holder of 12 school passing records at MU.
Logan and his wife Jennifer reside in Columbus. They have four children: Jackson (who plays for the Grizzlies), Emma, Karlie and Luna.
