Emry Himes is a 27-year-old young man with Down Syndrome whose enthusiasm, determination and positive spirit inspire everyone around him. Outgoing and friendly, Emry loves sports and is an active competitor in Special Olympics, participating in swimming, basketball, Unified golf and cornhole. He graduated from the Stars Program at Roncalli High School and continued his education through the Inspire Work Study Program at Franklin College. Today, Emry proudly serves as the “GM” (Great Man) for the Franklin College football program, where he is a valued member of the team and campus community. Through his dedication, leadership and genuine love for people, Emry demonstrates that success is measured not only by achievements, but by the positive impact we have on others.

Emry resides in Southport, Indiana with his dad and mom, David and Barb Himes. He has three brothers (David, Jake and Nick) and two sisters (Carrie and Katie).
