Clara Sjoquist joined Franklin as an assistant coach ahead of the 2024 season.
Clara’s journey with lacrosse began in the 7th grade, playing alongside Arlie Cobb, her fellow assistant coach. From those early days, her love for the game only grew stronger, carrying her through high school and eventually to Stetson University. There, she took on a leadership role as president of the Lacrosse Club, fostering a community of passionate players and honing her skills both on and off the field. Her academic journey led her to graduate from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. Today, she serves as the director of communications at the church where she grew up, bringing together her professional expertise and personal values. As she steps into the role of assistant coach, she is eager to bring her experiences full circle, contributing to the development and success of Franklin College’s student-athletes with the same passion that has driven her throughout her lacrosse career.
