Biography

2014-15: Became the school's first individual national champion when she won the 800-meter run at the 2015 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships...also earned All-American honors with an eighth-place finish at the 2015 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field National Championships...three-time Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player during 2014-15 season (Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track)...semifinalist for the 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year Award...helped lead Grizzlies to the HCAC Indoor Track Championship and a second-place finish at the Outdoor Track Championships...held 13 track school records when she graduated...earned Academic All-American honors by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

2013-14: Earned the HCAC Outdoor Track Most Valuable Player Award for the second-straight season...qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in the 800-meter run...named an Academic All-American by the USTFCCCA...All-HCAC selection in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field...won the 800-meter run at the HCAC Indoor Track Championships and was a three-time event winner at the outdoor meet...named the Indiana Division III Track MVP.

2012-13: Qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 800-meter race...named the HCAC Most Valuable Track Athlete...won three events in track and field to lead the Grizzlies finish in second place...earned All-HCAC honors in cross country in leading the team to a third-place finish...selected to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

2011-12: Earned All-HCAC honorable mention honors in cross country...named to the league's All-Academic team during the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 semesters...selected to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team...all-conference accolades in track and field as a freshman.

High School: Was the county, section and conference champion in the 400-meter race at Indian Creek High School...named the Most Valuable Distance Runner for track and field during two of her four seasons...earned the cross country team's Mental Attitude and Sportsmanship Award...graduated in the top ten of high school class.

Personal: Majors in International Business and Business Management...daughter of Roger and Barbara Murdock...Dean's List student during the Fall 2012 and Spring 2012 and 2013 semesters...also competes on Franklin's track and field team.
