Todd Burris is the fifth head coach in program history at Franklin College and will begin his third year in the fall of 2025. No stranger to athletic competition, Burris was a three-sport athlete in high school and walked on to the tennis team at St. Joseph’s College. He later caught on as a walk-on for the track and field team at Indiana State University, where he finished his bachelor’s degree in criminology in 1994. In 2025, Burris was named Coach of the Year in the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference. Since 2023, Burris has developed four All-HCLC players and seen several get inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society (Chi Alpha Sigma). Burris also serves Franklin College as the director of eSports, winning multiple championships. Burris is a current member of the International Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), and his 2025 team was named an Academic Honor Squad.
