Biography
2013: Placed second at the Heartland Conference Invitational...earned All-Great Lakes Region honors...named the HCAC Female Runner of the Week on two occasions...led team to a title team at the Sodexo Grizzly Invitational with a third-place effort...posted a season-best six-kilometer time of 22:28.5 at the conference meet...finished eighth at the Indiana Intercollegiate Meet (19:39.75).
2012: Won the individual Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference title for the second-straight year (22:49.90)...earned the HCAC Most Outstanding Player and all-league honors...participated in the NCAA Division III Regional Meet...set the program's second-best time in the 5K at the Wilmington (18:13).
2011: Won the individual title at the HCAC Championships during her freshman year...received the league's Most Outstanding Player and all-conference honors...participated in the NCAA Division III Regional at Oberlin, setting the third-best all-time 6K time (22:20).
Personal: Majors in english with a minor in journalism...daughter of Roger and Christie Cain...Dean's List student during each college semester...also competes on Franklin's track and field team...received the Tracy Award for French...member of the Sigma Tau Delta and Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society...Delta Delta Delta.
