2019-20: Set a new PR in the mile in the first event of the indoor season, clocking in at 4:42.62 at the Indianapolis Season Opener (12/6)...broke 2 minutes in the 800m for the first time at the 2020 Hoosier Hills Event (2/14), breaking the tape at 1:59.16...helped Franklin's distance medley relay team place second at the HCAC Indoor Championships (2/22).
2018-19: Placed second in the mile in his first career event, recording a time of 4:52.62 at the Indianapolis Winter Break Meet (12/7)...set a PR in the 1000m run with a time of 2:45.31 at the Little Giant Open (1/12), earning a fourth place finish.
Prior to Franklin: Named All-Conference, team captain, All-Academic Jr. team while part of the Northview football team...National Honor Society member.
Personal: Son of Amy and Jeremy Heading...has two siblings, Tyler and Kylie...also a member of the football team...enjoys playing sports, hanging out with friends and trying new things...Accounting major.
