High School: Holds four school records in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle events along with the 200- and 400-freestyle relay teams at Edgewood High School...earned All-Western Indiana Conference honors 13 times...named team's Most Valuable Player...won the Superior, Outstanding, and Mustang Awards.

Personal: Majors in biology with a minor in french and economy...son of Greg and Catherine Gossett.
