2025-26: Saw his first collegiate action at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate (March 21-22), where he carded a first-round 80 before withdrawing on day two.

2024-25: Did not see any tournament action as a freshman.

Personal: Son of Sally and Kevin Newell ... Has one brother (Landon).
