Coach Pardue has been active in the tournament fishing scene for more than 40 years.  He fished the Indiana Bass Federation Invitational Trail for 20 years, making the prestigious State Team in 1987 and 1991.  Perhaps his highest finish in tournament fishing came in 2024 when he finished 38th out of 35,000 anglers in the TBF National Championship.  To qualify, Pardue finished 3rd out of 80 anglers in the 2023 Regional TBF Championship on the Mississippi River.  Pardue has volunteered his time, money, and energy into a number of worthwhile organizations and projects to help promote the sport of fishing, improve access for anglers, and mentor young anglers.

  • BASS Man of the Year in 1997
  • Member of the Martinsville BASS Ambassadors from 1979 to 2002
  • Indiana Bass Federation West Zone Director from 1988 to 1992
  • Indiana Bass Federation Environmental Director 1999 to 2000
  • Indiana Bass Federation Public Relations Director 2000 to 2001
  • Coordinator of the Indiana Adopt and Angler program 1997 to 2006
Coach Pardue has lived on the southside for many years and currently resides in Morgantown, IN.  He retired from Allison after 31 years and continues to work and volunteer to promote the outdoors and the sport of fishing.
