Joel Taylor
Taylor, Class of 1992, remains one of the most dominant forces on a football field in the school's history. During his four years with the program at wide receiver, he racked up 207 catches for 3,145 yards and 31 touchdowns, holding the program record for receptions and receiving yards until both were broken by All-American wideout Kyle Linville.
To this day, Taylor ranks second in program history in catches and yards, fourth in receiving touchdowns and sixth in yards per catch at 15.1 yards. After graduation, Taylor caught on with the Miami Dolphins and take part in the team's minicamp before injuries brought a halt to his playing career.
