Franklin College athletics is excited to announce a broadcast partnership with INside the Lines Media, which will begin covering all Griz home action in basketball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, baseball and softball.

Based in Greenwood, Indiana, INside the Lines Media is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high school and college students with hands-on opportunities to develop skills in sports broadcasting, on-air talent and live production.

The organization got started by broadcasting soccer matches at Center Grove High School in the fall of 2025 and quickly expanded its footprint throughout central Indiana, adding coverage of Center Grove basketball, baseball and softball as well as Indian Creek football. This fall, INside the Lines will also be broadcasting a Game of the Week for the Hoosier Legends Conference.

An IHSAA Champions Network affiliate, INside the Lines aims to give the next generation of broadcasters an opportunity to learn by doing. Its partnership with the Grizzlies will give Franklin College students, particularly at the Pulliam School of Journalism, the chance to gain experience in play-by-play announcing, color commentary, sideline reporting, camera operation, graphics, audio, replay and live broadcast production.

INside the Lines Media seeks to provide students with more than a view from the sidelines—it provides them with an opportunity to step behind the microphone, operate the equipment, and gain meaningful experience in the world of sports media and broadcasting.
