RICHMOND, Ind. – The Franklin women's tennis team closed out the regular season with two wins, besting Grace Christian as part of Friday's (Apr. 26) Senior Day and taking a thrilling conference win over Earlham on Saturday (Apr. 27).
 
The Grizzlies (6-11, 2-4 HCAC) rolled to an 8-1 win over Grace Christian to open the weekend, sending off seniors Maecee Terhune and Samantha Schick with a victory in their final career home match. The next day's dual against Earlham came down to the final match of the weekend, with freshman Michiah Draper rallying from a tie-breaker loss in the opening set to win the next two and secure a 5-4 victory that will send Franklin into the conference tournament as the fifth-seed.
