FRANKLIN – The Franklin women's tennis team welcomed a pair of Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) foes to Grizzly Park on Sunday (Apr. 14), facing Manchester in the morning and Transylvania in the afternoon.
 
The Grizzlies (4-9, 1-2 HCAC) notched the first win of the Staci LaGrange era in the morning session with an 8-1 victory over Manchester (0-11, 0-4 HCAC). The afternoon session saw the Grizzlies fall to the Pioneers (8-7, 3-0 HCAC) by a 9-0 count.
