BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Franklin women's swimming and diving team closed out the regular season on Saturday (Jan. 27) afternoon with a road dual matchup against Illinois Wesleyan.
 
Franklin wrapped up an undefeated season in dual competition, moving to 9-0 in head-to-head meetings with a 219-74 win over the Titans. The Grizzlies won 15 of the day's 16 events, with 10 different Grizzlies winning either an individual or relay event.
 
Finding their way into the winner's circle on Saturday were:
-Celeste Hollis in the 200 free (1:59.56), 100 free (54.59) and 100 butterfly (59.39)
-Petal Sloan in the 50 free (25.49)
-Kat Lundy in the 100 backstroke (1:00.19) and 200 backstroke (2:12.55)
-Caileigh McCafferty in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.91) and 400 IM (4:44.44)
-Samantha Phillips in the 200 butterfly (2:14.27) and 500 free (5:23.72)
-Regan Hendricks in the 200 breaststroke (2:39.89)
-Kaleigh Schuler on the 1-meter board (251.10) and 3-meter board (231.55)
-200 medley relay of Lundy, McCafferty, Phillips & Avery Tomlinson (1:56.23)
-200 free relay of Hollis, Sloan, Landi Newcomb & Kennedy Minter (1:42.35)
