As the numbers get more gaudy, the awards continue to pile up for
Marshall Kmiecik.
The sophomore quarterback was chosen as the HCAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks after putting up career-best numbers in the Grizzlies' 48-21 rout of Manchester. He completed 21 of his 28 passes for a total of 382 yards, throwing five touchdown passes. He opened the game with a 14-yard run and five straight completions, the last of those a 29-yard TD, to set the tone in a one-sided win.
Kmiecik has now passed for 1,817 yards and 18 TDs on the season. He and the Grizzlies (3-3, 1-1 HCAC) will be back in action this Saturday afternoon at Mount St. Joseph.
