Franklin, Ind. - The Franklin College volleyball team seeks to get back in the win column when it hosts Mount St. Joseph University on Friday, October 23, at 7 p.m. from the Spurlock Center.
The Grizzlies have lost their last two matches and stand 15-11 on the season. The team is in fourth place in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) with a 4-2 league record.
Franklin is 5-1 inside the Spurlock Center this fall.
Sophomore Amanda Lelivelt (Chippewa Falls, Wis./Riverside Brookfield) leads the team with 268 kills and a .316 hitting percentage. She is tops on the team with 50 solo blocks.
Senior Kourtney Settle (Vallonia, Ind./Brownstown Central) has recorded 262 kills and a .288 hitting percentage on the season. She has a team-high 93 blocks.
Junior Ashley Bazier (Terre Haute, Ind./Terre Haute South) distributes the team's balanced offensive attack with 959 assists and averaging 9.2 assists per set. She ranks second on the team with 371 digs.
Senior Mackenzie Wieneke (Seymour, Ind./Seymour) leads the HCAC with 623 digs and averaging 6.1 digs per set. She has posted 22 serving aces. Senior Theresa Brown (Indianapolis, Ind./Franklin Central) has recorded 323 digs on the season.
