FRANKLIN, Ind. – Playing their second match in less than 24 hours, the Franklin women's tennis team welcomed NAIA in-state foe Indiana-Southeast to the Mickel-Hoover Tennis Complex on Sunday (Sept. 15) afternoon.

The Grizzlies (1-2) dropped their matinee meeting with the Grenadiers (1-0) by a 9-0 score. In doubles play, the guests dropped just four points on their way to an early lead. That momentum carried over to singles play, where FC was knocked off in straight sets in all six matches.

Franklin returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 21, when they resume Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play. The Grizzlies travel to Defiance, Ohio to take on the Defiance Yellow Jackets with first serve set for 11:00 a.m.
