FRANKLIN, Ind. – Brynna Sentel, Ashley Snoke and Jacqueline Richard were among 1,221 swimmers and divers named to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American Team for the 2018-19 season.
The sophomore trio all earned the prestigious honor for the first time in their careers. In order to earn Scholar All-America status, each needed to finish the year with a cumulative 3.50 grade point average or higher. All three Grizzlies were named First Team Scholar All-Americans after qualifying for the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships last year.
Sentel, Snoke and Richard all garnered honorable mention All-American status for their performance at the 2019 NCAA Division III Championships. Sentel became the first individual All-American in program history when she earned honorable mention in the 100 backstroke. Earlier in the event, she was joined by Snoke and Richard as part of the 200 medley relay team that was the first relay to earn honorable mention All-American status.
