CARMEL, Ind. – Franklin College freshman forward Elaina Page was rewarded for a breakout performance last week with the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference's (HCAC) Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday (Oct. 8) afternoon.

The Cicero, Ind.-native starred for the Grizzlies on Saturday afternoon against Defiance, potting the first three goals of her college career in a 4-0 Franklin win over the Yellow Jackets to open the conference slate.

Page got the Grizzlies off and running with goals on back-to-back shots in the 15th and 27th minutes, respectively. With a three-goal lead in the second half, Page put the finishing touches on the hat trick when she buried her third of the game on a feed from Lilly Haines in the 66th minute. She finished the afternoon with five shot attempts and four shots on goal.

Page and the Grizzlies head to Hanover, Ind. on Wednesday (Oct. 9) afternoon for a showdown with the Panthers as conference play rolls on. Kick-off is set for 5:00 p.m.
