KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Franklin College senior forward Maddie Fleet added another accolade to her already impressive list of awards on Wednesday (Nov. 28), earning a spot on the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-Great Lakes Region team.
The Indianapolis, Ind.-native became a four-time all-region selection by the United Soccer Coaches. Fleet was a first team selection in 2015 and 2016 and picked up second team honors in 2017.
Fleet put on another dominant performance in 2018, earning HCAC Offensive Player of the Year honors for the fourth straight year, becoming the first athlete in conference history to do so. She finished her final season with 22 goals and four assists for 48 points, leading the conference in scoring for the fourth straight year.
For her career, Fleet netted 96 goals and handed out 34 assists for 226 points, setting program records in all three categories. Additionally, her 22 game-winning goals are also the most in the history of the program and earlier this month, she became a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection.
