RECAP | Grizzlies Close Out Regular Season at Pat Clouse Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Franklin College women's golf team took part in their final tournament before the conference championships, taking part in the Pat Clouse Invitational, hosted by Wittenberg University on Saturday and Sunday.

Franklin finished sixth on the weekend, carding a two-day score of 720 (373-347). Senior Hannah Sharkey topped the Grizzly leaderboard, earning a share of 22nd place with a 178 (90-86). Sophomore Jaley Schlosser (96-85) and senior Keely Townsend (94-87) shared 27th place with identical scores of 181.

Sophomore Megg Hensler finished 30th with a 182 (93-89), Mackenzie Black placed 35th with a 196 (97-99) and Avery Auton took 36th place with a 232 (115-117) to round out the Franklin lineup.

The Grizzlies have a week to get ready for the 2018 HCAC Championships, which take place on Oct. 13-14 at Liberty Country Club in Liberty, Ind. Tee-times for both days are set for 11:00 a.m.
