Paige Lundy Earns All-HCAC Honor at Women’s Golf Champ


Terre Haute, Ind. - Franklin College senior Paige Lundy earned All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) honors with a fourth-place finish during the 2016 HCAC Women's Golf Championships hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

She recorded all-conference accolades with a top-eight finish at the league championship tournament during all four of her collegiate seasons.

Franklin placed third as a team with a 707 score during the 36-hole tournament held at Hulman Links Golf Course.

Lundy compiled a 171 score, highlighted by an 81-stroke score during Saturday's first round. Senior Annie Rodgers tied for 10th place individually with a 177 composite score. Sophomore Keely Townsend carded an 89-stroke score in the final round to tie for 12th place overall with a 179 score.

Junior Hannah White led Franklin on Sunday's final round with an 86-stroke score to place 14th place with a 180 score. Sophomore Hannah Sharkey rounded out the effort with a 24th-place finish.
