Terre Haute, Ind. - The Franklin College women's golf stands in second place after the first 18 holes of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Saturday from Hulman Links Golf Course.
The Grizzlies recorded a 353 team score and trails Hanover College by five strokes for first place at the midway point of the conference championships. Rose-Ulman stands in third place with a 357 score, while Transylvania University (364 strokes) and Manchester Universiety (385) round out the top five teams in the standings.
Senior Paige Lundy led the Grizzlies with an 81-stroke score to stand in second place individually. Senior Annie Rodgers is tied for fifth place after carding an 87-stroke score on Saturday. Sophomore Keely Townsend is tied for 12th place individually with a 90-stroke score.
Sunday's final round begins at 9 a.m.
