Women’s Golf Set to Compete at Rose-Hulman Invite

Franklin, Ind. - The Franklin College women's golf team will preview the course for next month's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Championships when it competes in the Rose-Hulman Invitational at Hulman Links Golf Course in Terre Haute, Indiana from September 17-18.

The first 18 holes of the tournament will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday with the final round set for Sunday at 9 a.m.

Franklin is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Rhodes Invitational from September 11-12. The Grizzlies recorded two top-20 individual finishes at the tournament, led by sophomore Keely Townsend with a career-best 81-stroke score in the final round.

Senior Paige Lundy shot identical 85-stroke scores to tie for 19th place at Rhodes.

Junior Hannah White placed ninth to earn HCAC Player of the Week honors during the team's season-opening Labor Day Classic at Olivet College.
