Doty Wins High Jump, Men Finish Fifth at Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (January 21, 2017)- The Franklin College men's track and field team finished in fifth place at the Rose-Hulman Friday Night Invitational.

Freshman Tyler Doty won the high jump event with a jump of 5 feet and 11.5 inches. Doty also fininshed seventh in the 60 meter hurdles.

Freshman Clayton Brumfield finished second in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 9:02.

Freshman Reed Sauter finsished fourth in the 400 meter run, posting a time of 51.52 seconds.

The team is back in action Saturday Jan. 28 at Rose-Hulman. Events are set to begin at noon.
