Terre Haute, Ind. - Sophomore Nathan Adams (Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) led the Franklin College men's track and field team with an eighth-place finish in the weight throw during the Engineer Invitational at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Saturday.
Adams had a personal-best performance in the weight throw(12.47 meters).
On the women's side, junior Erica Christy (Greenwood, Ind./Greenwood) recorded a pair of top-four performances to lead the track and field team's during the Engineer Invitational at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Saturday.
She took runner-up honors in the shot put (11.97 meters), while placing fourth in the weight throw (12.01 meters). Christy tallied 13 of the team's 25 points during the meet.
Senior Madison Parker (Franklin, Ind./Franklin Community) earned a second-place finish in the 5,000-meter run (19:41.35).
Classmate Emily Young (Avon, Ind./Avon) had a fifth-place finish in the high jump (1.48 meters).
Franklin returns to action on Friday, February 5, at 6 p.m. when it competes at the Tiger Small College Invitational at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
