FRANKLIN, Ind. – Franklin College men's soccer head coach Cody Graman has announced the 2018 schedule for the Grizzlies, which will feature eight matches played at Faught Stadium in Franklin.
The 18-game schedule opens with a match on the road at Wabash on Aug. 31 before the Grizzlies open their home schedule against Spalding University on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. Franklin will host two more non-conference games after that, welcoming Finlandia to town on Sept. 17 followed by a match with Greenville on Sept. 22.
The Grizzlies open Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play under the lights on Saturday, Sept. 29 with a showdown against Defiance to close out the Homecoming Weekend festivities. The Grizzlies will welcome Manchester (Oct. 10), Anderson (Oct. 13), Transylvania (Oct. 25) and Mount St. Joseph (Oct. 31) to town in the final month of the regular season.
In addition to the season-opener at Wabash, the Grizzlies will face Fontbonne (Sept. 8), Trine (Sept. 9), DePauw (Sept. 11), Illinois College (Sept. 15) and Wilmington in non-conference road matches. In conference play, the Grizzlies will travel to Hanover (Oct. 3), Bluffton (Oct. 6), Rose-Hulman (Oct. 17) and Earlham (Oct. 20).
