INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Franklin men's soccer team took the pitch at Carroll Stadium in downtown Indianapolis on Wednesday night, taking on the DePauw Tigers at the home of the Indy Eleven.

Luke Oliver connected for the Grizzlies' lone goal of the match, scoring on a penalty kick in the 79th minute, his first tally of the year that moves him into a tie with Mason May for more points on the team with four.

The Tigers opened the scoring in the eighth minute on Taras Tataryn's first of two goals on the afternoon. Tataryn would add another later in the first half as DePauw scored 35 seconds apart to make it 3-0 after 18 minutes of play.

DePauw would add another in the 63rd minute before Oliver broke the shutout with his sixth career marker.

Franklin will look to get in the win column on Saturday afternoon, when they continue their current five-game stretch away from home. The Grizzlies travel to Greenville, Ill. for a showdown with the Greenville Tigers. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. eastern time.
