Men’s Soccer Heads to DePauw on Wednesday

Franklin, Ind. - The Franklin College men's soccer team hits the road for the first time this fall when it battles DePauw University on Wednesday, September 9, at 7 p.m. from Greencastle, Indiana.

The Grizzlies are looking for their first win of the season after a pair of home setbacks to Wilmington College (Ohio) and Wabash College during the opening week of the season.

Sophomore Cam Mattern (Pittsboro, Ind./Brownsburg) and freshman Blaine Fuhs (Washington, Ind./Washington Catholic) scored a goal in the Wilmington match.

Freshman Sam Stallsmith (Cicero, Ind./Hamilton Heights) leads the team with two assist on the season.

Senior Cody Chapman (Vincennes, Ind./Washington) has made eight saves this fall.

Franklin picked up a 1-0 win over DePauw in 2014 in a match at Faught Stadium.
