Franklin, Ind. - The Franklin College men's soccer team opens the home portion of its 2014 season on Wednesday, September 3 by hosting DePauw University in a matchup of Indiana NCAA Division III teams, starting at 7:30 p.m. on Faught Stadium.
Wednesday's contest begins a three-match home stand this week as the Grizzlies also host the Daniel Schuetz Community Classic from September 6-7.
Franklin seeks its first victory of the season after losing at Wilmington College, 4-0, on Saturday. The Quakers scored three times in a four-minute span of the second half in the season-opening match.
DePauw stands 1-1 on the season after splitting a pair of matches at the Ohio Northern Tournament last weekend. The team defeated John Carroll University, 1-0, before losing to the host Polar Bears, 3-2. Last year, the Tigers had a 14-2-3 overall record and narrowly missed out on the Division III tournament.
