CARMEL, Ind. – Senior Jackson Williams collected his second individual award in a 48-hour span on Tuesday (Oct. 8) afternoon when he was named the HCAC's Player of the Week for the fourth time in his career.

Williams closed out the fall schedule on a high note, winning his fourth career tournament with a four-under 140 (71-69) at last weekend's Centre Fall Classic. Sitting in a tie for third place after day one, Williams shot up the leaderboard over the final 18 holes with a season-low round of 69 to win the event by two shots.

The Greenwood, Ind.-native has earned at least one event victory in each of his four years with the program. His last title came back on Sept. 30, 2018, when he claimed victory at the DePauw Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic. Williams becomes the second Grizzly this fall to earn Player of the Week honors, joining teammate Brock Tennyson.
