Men’s Golf Third after Third Round of HCAC Championships

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (May 6, 2017) – The Franklin College Men's Golf team is currently third after the first day of competition at the HCAC Championships at a total of 50 over par for the tournament. 

Freshman Colton Kuppler is currently in second place for the tournament after shooting an even par 72. Kuppler stands one stroke back of the tournament leader heading into the final round. Senior Jack Knue is currently in tenth place after shooting a +2 74 in the third round.

Franklin is currently third in the team standings behind Transylvania (+38) and Mount St. Joesph (+49). The Grizzles are in a good position to move up in the standings on the second day.

Competition will resume May 7 at 9 a.m from Hulman Links G.C..
