Men’s Golf Team Wins Hanover Invitational

HANOVER, Ind. (April 9, 2017) -- The Franklin College men's golf team won the two-day Hanover Spring Invitational, wrapping up the victory on Sunday.

The Grizzlies out-distanced runner-up Hanover by a score of 612 to 626 at Shadowood Golf Course.

Franklin freshman Colton Kuppler earned medalist honors with a 1-over par 145. Junior Spencer Portish tied for fifth with a 153. Junior Sam Godby and senior Jack Knue tied for eighth with 155, and sophomore Jacob Hash and freshman Nathan Higbie tied for 15th with a 159.

Franklin returns to action April 15 at the Earlham Invitational. Play starts at 11 a.m.
